Boating Fees Boating and fishing are permitted on both Lyman Lake and Lake Cooley. SJWD maintains boat ramps and docks at each lake. Hours are posted at each site. You must be out by sunset. Neither Lyman Lake or Lake Cooley permits jet skis, and water skiing is allowed only on Lyman Lake. To use the SJWD lakes, you must have a four-stroke engine, or a Three Star Emission rated engine. You must also obtain an annual permit from our Lake Wardens prior to boating.
