May 12, 2026 – Save the Date! The annual Discover Your Watershed event returns to Lake Cooley on Saturday, June 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This FREE, family-friendly event offers families the opportunity to learn about the Tyger River Watershed while enjoying the beauty and fun of Lake Cooley. Event attendees will receive a complimentary lunch and can register for free kayak and paddleboard sessions with Spartanburg County Parks.
